Egypt: Farmers Affected by the War in Iran

The war in Iran has severely impacted small Egyptian farmers, leading to rising prices for fertilizers and energy. Ashraf Abu Ragab, a 45-year-old farmer, has had to lay off his workers and reduce the area of land he cultivates. He now only farms half of his land and has stopped growing wheat, as the costs of the harvests no longer cover expenses.
