Ekiti Guber: Isaac Fayose alerts EFCC over alleged plot to buy votes

Ahead of the Ekiti State gubernatorial election, Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former governor Ayo Fayose, alleged that the ruling APC has concluded plans to buy votes. In a Facebook video, he called on the EFCC to be alert and apprehend the alleged vote buyers. The National Secretary of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Ikenna Enekweizu, said the party's presidential candidate, Peter Obi, preferred that activist Aisha Yesufu contest for the AMAC/Gwari House of Representatives seat rather than the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Senate position. Enekweizu disclosed this on Channels Television, adding that the party tried to persuade Yesufu to reconsider, but she insisted she was bigger than the reps office.
