El-Rufai gets bail, court adjourns to April 21

Former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, secured bail from a Federal High Court in Kaduna. Justice Rilwan Aikawa granted bail after hearing arguments from both the defense and prosecution, but ordered that he remain in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) until the bail conditions are fulfilled. El-Rufai faces charges of alleged conversion and possession of public property, money laundering, and abuse of office.
