Ekiti Poll: Police vow crackdown on thuggery, vote buying as INEC deploys materials

Police Commissioner Abayomi Shogunle vowed that security agencies will crack down on vote buying, political thuggery, and other electoral violence during Saturday's Ekiti governorship election. He stated that 460 flashpoints have been identified and reinforced with additional personnel. Vehicular movement will be restricted on election day, and entry and exit points into the state are being monitored. The deployment strategy is based on threat assessments and monitoring platforms.
