US political advisory and lobbying firm Von Batten-Montague-York accused the Nigerian Presidency of misleadingly describing a US court ruling involving Bola Tinubu and records related to alleged drug trafficking. The firm said Aaron Greenspan’s request to question Tinubu was rejected in a separate alleged hacking case, unrelated to the Freedom of Information Act lawsuit. It said the judge denied most of the FBI and DEA’s requests to withhold records, criticized their vague explanations and ordered them to review the files again. The agencies must provide detailed justifications by November 27, 2026.
