Energy: Deputies Familiarize Themselves with Government Policy

Since April 28, 2026, the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum, and Energy has been organizing a workshop in Yamoussoukro to inform deputies about the regulatory framework and advancements in energy efficiency and renewable energies. Prefect Coulibaly Gando praised this initiative, emphasizing the importance of parliamentarians' understanding of energy reforms. The Director General of Energy, Ehouman Kalifa Narcisse, stated that the workshop aligns with President Alassane Ouattara's vision to achieve 46.3% renewable energy in the energy mix by 2035.
