Higher Education: Adama Diawara Opens ACE INNOVATE Workshop on Graduate Employability

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Adama Diawara, opened a three-day workshop on June 16, 2026 in Abidjan focusing on aligning training with labor market needs. The event is part of the ACE INNOVATE project, supported by the World Bank and the French Development Agency (AFD). The program aims to transform African higher education through four pillars: strengthening African Centers of Excellence, national consortia, university-industry partnerships, and regional cooperation. A key innovation is the promotion of intermediate skills, especially qualified technicians.
