Ronaldinho returns to football with an Italian third-tier club

Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho, 46, will return to the pitch for third-tier Italian club Ravenna on November 15. The 2002 World Cup winner will play against Forlì in a derby at Bruno Benelli Stadium and is aiming to score the 300th goal of his career. Retired since 2015, the former Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and AC Milan player has also become a shareholder in Ravenna. The club is second in Group B, six points behind leaders Spezia, and is seeking promotion to Serie B for the first time since 2008.
