Ethiopia’s green energy drive gets EU, UK boost

The European Union and the United Kingdom are investing in Ethiopia's energy sector to enhance electricity connectivity and reduce transportation costs. The UK announced a $5 million funding package to support Dodai, an electric mobility company. Meanwhile, the EU launched a $164 million budget support program for rural electrification and renewable energy development. Ethiopia aims for 80% vehicle electrification by 2030.
