Kinshasa: A modern biomedical analysis laboratory inaugurated in Kinkole to improve access to care

A modern biomedical analysis laboratory was inaugurated on July 15, 2026 at the Kinkole General Referral Hospital in the Nsele commune of Kinshasa. Funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) under the LABOH-KIN project, the facility aims to improve access to quality diagnostic tests for residents. The 12 million euro project includes five similar laboratories built in Kinshasa. The ceremony was attended by the representative of the Health Minister and the French ambassador.
