Evictions in Koumassi Campement: Suspect actively sought/offensive against money laundering

The Public Prosecutor of Abidjan ordered the immediate search for Alloui Brou Jacques, suspected of destroying numerous homes on June 3, 2026, in Koumassi Campement. The court order he claimed was actually rejected by the court. The National Human Rights Council warns of the humanitarian and social impact of the evictions. Separately, the prosecutor of the criminal and economic division launched an offensive against money laundering, stating that Côte d'Ivoire will never be a haven for criminal capital.
