Floods in Yoff: Philippe Maguilen Senghor Hospital Transforms Emergency Room into Consultation Area

Heavy rains in Dakar, totaling 52 mm in two hours, paralyzed the Philippe Maguilen Senghor Hospital located in the Yoff commune. Due to the flooding, staff had to convert the emergency room into a consultation area. Despite the challenging conditions, medical visits continued, with local residents assisting in water removal. The hospital has since resumed operations, allowing patients from surrounding neighborhoods to receive care.
