Explosion in southwest Colombia kills at least seven, state governor says

At least seven people were killed and 20 wounded in a suspected explosive attack in the Cauca province of Colombia. Governor Octavio Guzman condemned the "indiscriminate attack" on the Pan-American Highway in Cajibio and called for a "decisive, sustained" government response to the terrorist escalation. Meanwhile, Defense Minister Pedro Sanchez was convening a security council in Cali when the attack occurred.
