Extreme North: A Deputy Involved in a Fatal Accident on the Mada-Mora Route

Deputy Salomon Douvogo was involved in a fatal accident on the Mada-Mora route while returning from a tribute to Cavayé Yeguié Djibril, a former National Assembly president. A local villager was struck by the deputy's vehicle and died from the injuries. Douvogo was also injured and is currently hospitalized in Maroua. Local authorities plan to open an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.
