Benue: Four killed in suspected herdsmen ambush on Agatu community

A tragedy struck the Aila community in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State on Sunday morning when suspected armed herdsmen ambushed residents, killing at least four people and injuring several others. The attack, which occurred around 7:00 a.m., targeted villagers on their way to church, causing panic and confusion. The Chairman of Agatu Local Government Area, Mr. Melvin Ejeh, described the incident as a calculated ambush along the Aila-Odugbeho road.
