Niger: a 3.89 billion FCFA factory to produce 250,000 military uniforms annually – La Nouvelle Tribune

Niger has initiated the construction of a military uniform manufacturing plant in Niamey, costing 3.89 billion FCFA, with a capacity to produce 250,000 uniforms annually. Funded by the Solidarity Fund for the Preservation of the Homeland, the project will last 15 months and aims to strengthen the strategic autonomy of Niger's defense and security forces. It also plans to create jobs, provide technical training, and revive the textile industry, including cotton cultivation.
