Former Arsenal player Thomas Partey denies two new counts of rape

Former Arsenal footballer Thomas Partey pleaded not guilty to two new rape allegations during his appearance at Southwark Crown Court. The allegations relate to incidents in London in December 2020. Partey, who left Arsenal for Villarreal last summer, faces a total of seven counts of rape and one count of sexual assault involving four women. A trial originally scheduled for November may now be delayed until January 2027 due to the new allegations.
