Tragedy averted as protest erupts during funeral service for slain Angwan Rukuba victims

A protest erupted during the funeral service for victims of the Gari Yawaye community attack in Angwan Rukuba, Plateau State, following the arrest of three youths. The demonstrators, consisting of women, men, and youths, blocked the entrance of the ECWA Gospel Church, demanding the release of the youths whom they viewed as defenders of their community. The situation was brought under control when the military released the youths, allowing the funeral service to continue.
