FAAC: FG, States, LGCs share massive N2.550tn as June revenue - Daily Post Nigeria

In June 2026, Nigeria's three tiers of government (federal, states, and local councils) shared a total of N2.550 trillion from Federation Account revenue. The allocation was made at the July 2026 Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting in Abuja. The federal government received N923.438 billion, states received N838.208 billion, local councils received N591.390 billion, and N197.610 billion was shared as derivation revenue to benefiting states. The revenue came from statutory revenue (N1.809 trillion) and VAT (N740.724 billion).
