Kenya: 700 Households Face Displacement As Floods Hit Tana River

At least 700 households in Tana River County are facing possible displacement due to rising water levels threatening homes in Abakuyu and Anole villages. Authorities have urged residents to move to safer areas as severe flooding continues to affect the country. Over 100 homes have already been submerged, and emergency response teams, led by the Kenya Defence Forces, are on the ground evacuating stranded residents.
