Benin: Joseph Djogbénou becomes the sponsor of FITAB, a festival for artistic talents

Professor Joseph Fifamin Djogbénou, President of the National Assembly of Benin, agreed on July 16, 2026, to sponsor the International Festival of Artistic Talents of Benin (FITAB). The grand finale is scheduled for November 28, 2026, at the National Assembly esplanade, aiming for over 10,000 spectators. The festival, launched in 2023 as the Evening of Artistic Talents of Benin, will be held in Porto-Novo and cover theater, dance, music, visual arts, and percussion. Co-organizer Eyisse Sobur Babatunde praised Djogbénou's commitment as a strong signal for the cultural sector.
