Yobe Assembly approves second reading of Biomedical Engineering Institute Bill

The Yobe State House of Assembly has accelerated consideration of a bill to establish an Institute for Biomedical Engineering, Science and Technology. The bill, presented by the executive arm, passed its second reading following extensive deliberations. House Leader Hon. Nasiru Hassan Yusuf stated that the institute would strengthen the state's healthcare system by training competent technicians for the maintenance of medical equipment.
