Fatal accident on the highway: The National Police reacts after the death of a GMI officer

The National Police is in mourning following the death of officer Babacar Ndour, a member of the 1st Company of the Mobile Intervention Group (GMI) in Dakar, in an accident on the highway near the Belle Vue footbridge. The officer was riding a motorcycle with a colleague when their vehicle was struck by a bus, resulting in Ndour's immediate death and serious injuries to his passenger. The bus driver has been arrested and is being charged with involuntary manslaughter.
