KeNHA to pay Sh20m over wrongful demolition marks on Lang’ata apartments

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has been ordered to pay Sh20 million to Mwaafa Court Limited, the owner of an apartment block in Lang’ata, after wrongful demolition marks were placed on the building. The court found that the property did not encroach on the Southern Bypass road corridor, contrary to KeNHA's claims. The markings caused panic among buyers and disrupted business, leading to refund requests from clients.
