FG moves to launch food bank programme, sets up committee for nationwide rollout

The Federal Government has activated a steering committee to oversee the rollout of a national food bank programme. During the inaugural meeting in Abuja, Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare Muhammad Ali Pate emphasized the need for effective execution of the programme aimed at addressing malnutrition across the 774 local government areas. The initiative, proposed by Oluremi Tinubu, includes representatives from various government ministries and agencies.
