FIFA unveils 52 referees for World Cup, including six women

FIFA announced the selection of 52 referees for the World Cup taking place from June 11 to July 19, including six women. In addition to the referees, there will be 88 assistant referees and 30 video match officials from all six confederations and 50 member associations. Pierluigi Collina, FIFA's chief refereeing officer, emphasized that these officials were identified and assessed over the past three years.
