FIFA Ranking: Fouzi Lekjaa Warns France, New Leader

Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the Moroccan Royal Football Federation, warned France, now at the top of the FIFA rankings, not to rest on its laurels. Morocco, after winning the 2025 AFCON on a technicality and achieving recent positive results, is just two points behind the Netherlands and aims for the top spot, a feat never accomplished by an African team. Lekjaa congratulated Philippe Diallo, president of the French Football Federation, while expressing Morocco's ambition to compete quickly.
