Figuig Stars as Guest of Honor at Morocco’s First National Oasis Forum in Zagora

The oasis of Figuig was featured as the guest of honor at the first edition of the National Oasis Forum, held in Zagora from April 9 to 12. A dedicated pavilion showcased Figuig's historical, cultural, and civilizational heritage, organized around five themes: the history of ksour, agriculture, hydraulic engineering, traditional craftsmanship, and local cuisine. Visitors were introduced to water management models and local dishes such as couscous and trid.
