Five dismissed inspectors from the Rivers State Police Command are set to face prosecution for allegations of armed robbery, kidnapping, extortion, and criminal conspiracy. The officers, identified as John Okoi, Eyibo Asuquo, Udo Ndipmong, Bright Nwachukwu, and Anele Ikechukwu, were linked to criminal activities between September 2025 and January 2026. They allegedly used minibusses for illegal stop-and-search operations and forced victims to disclose banking information before transferring money from their accounts.
