FKF NEC Writes to FIFA Over Federation Crisis, Saying Actions Were Only Administrative

The National Executive Committee of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) sent a letter to FIFA on May 2, 2026, clarifying that the suspension of President Hussein Mohammed was a precautionary administrative measure. The NEC stated that these actions aimed to safeguard the integrity of the federation and ensure independent investigations. FIFA had previously requested clarification on decisions made around April 24, 2026, when nine NEC members voted to suspend Mohammed.
