Flash appeal worth USD30.3 million launched in response to the escalating health crisis across the Middle East

The World Health Organization has launched a USD30.3 million flash appeal to support its health response to the escalating conflict across the Middle East, focusing on countries such as Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Jordan. Over 4.3 million people have been displaced in the region, with hospitals facing surging trauma cases while struggling to maintain routine health services. Attacks on health services have also been reported, worsening the health crisis.
