Aviation fuel crisis: Pilots raise concerns of elevated fatigue level

The National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE) has raised concerns about elevated fatigue levels among its members due to the rising costs of Jet A1 fuel. NAAPE's National President, Capt. Bunmi Gindeh, stated that the ongoing fuel crisis poses a threat to flight safety, as delays and unpaid salaries are increasing fatigue among pilots and engineers. He urged the federal government and relevant authorities to intervene promptly to prevent route suspensions and job losses.
