Rival Libya factions sign deal to hold national elections within two years

Representatives of Libya's rival governments have signed a deal to hold national elections within two years. The agreement, signed in Tripoli, stipulates that legislative and presidential elections will be held under a single executive authority. However, skepticism remains regarding the implementation of this agreement, particularly concerning who will govern the country during this period. If the deal is not approved by both councils within a month, it will be adopted as a constitutional document with international support.
