Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the self-styled Director-General of the alleged non-existent Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC), failed to appear for his arraignment before Justice Mohammed Umar on eight counts of forgery, fraud and impersonation. The police may apply for a bench warrant. Adeyemi claimed he fears for his life and reiterated his allegation that he paid N400 million through a proxy to President Tinubu's Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, to secure his appointment.
