Four African States Prepare for the Arrival of Leon XIV

Pope Leon XIV will visit Algeria, Angola, Cameroon, and Equatorial Guinea during an eleven-day trip covering over 17,700 kilometers. In Cameroon, hundreds of thousands of faithful are expected, particularly for an outdoor mass that could gather up to 600,000 people. The 70-year-old pope will address the faithful in multiple languages, reflecting the linguistic diversity of the Catholic communities he will encounter.
