Artemis astronauts more than halfway to Moon, putting Earth in rearview

The Artemis II astronauts have passed the halfway point between Earth and the Moon, reaching this milestone about two days after launching from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Christina Koch expressed the crew's joy at seeing the Moon through the Orion spacecraft's window, which is over 229,000 kilometers from Earth.
