Alleged N36m fraud: Court puts Blessing CEO's bail application on hold

Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday reserved ruling on the bail application of social media influencer Blessing CEO, who is facing a two-count charge of alleged fraud and stealing amounting to N36 million. The ruling is now scheduled for June 9, 2026. The charges were filed by the EFCC.

Ogun NUJ, CDHR condemn assault of journalists, demand probe

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Ogun State condemned the physical assault of two journalists, state television correspondent Taiwo Fabajo and Channels TV crew members Bidemi Bello and Gbenga Osinuga, during a government enforcement exercise in Ogunguandong, Igbesa.
