Mouhamed Zebboudj, a 27-year-old Algerian, has been missing since March 28 after attempting to swim to Ceuta from Fnideq, Morocco. His family has issued a public appeal for witnesses, fearing he may be unable to contact them. In 2025, 46 people died attempting this crossing, which is one of the most dangerous routes in the region. No Spanish or Moroccan authorities have confirmed his whereabouts so far.
