FRSC recovers car stolen since 2023 in Anambra

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) recovered a stolen vehicle in Nnewi, Anambra State, three years after it was taken during a kidnapping incident. The recovery, which took place on April 4, 2026, was made possible by the National Vehicle Identification Scheme (NVIS), which detected inconsistencies in the ownership documents. The rightful owner, Mr. Onyechi Dickson Eze, confirmed that his vehicle was stolen on January 23, 2023. The investigation led to the arrest of the agent who processed the fraudulent documents.
