Nigerian Navy recovers 1,600 litres of illegally refined AGO in Rivers forest operation

The Nigerian Navy recovered approximately 1,600 litres of suspected illegally refined Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) during an operation in the Okolomade Community, Abua-Odual Local Government Area, Rivers State. The operation, conducted by the NNS Soroh, was initiated based on intelligence regarding the movement of illegally refined petroleum products. Although the suspects fled the scene, the recovered products were managed according to established operational procedures.
