Students deprived of classes in several territories of Kasaï, their teachers blocked in Tshikapa for their pay

Since September 1, students in the territories of Kamonia, Tshikapa, and Luebo in Kasaï have been unable to attend classes as their teachers are stuck in Tshikapa to finalize identification operations and recover their salaries. These administrative processes, started in June, prevent many teachers from returning to their posts, and three months of pay remain unpaid. One teacher even died while waiting in front of a bank, prompting calls for intervention from authorities to resolve the situation.
