Fintiri backs Kanu’s proposal for football tournament in Adamawa

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has endorsed a proposal by former Nigerian international footballer Nwankwo Kanu to hold a football tournament in Adamawa State. The tournament, named the Governor’s Cup, will feature teams from all 21 local government areas of the state. Fintiri emphasized the importance of developing young people's sports talents and expressed his support for the event, which may culminate in a new ultramodern stadium currently under construction.
