'You're not our lawyer - IPOB disowns Ifeanyi Ejiofor

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) issued a statement disowning lawyer Ifeanyi Ejiofor, stating he was dismissed by the group's leader, Nnamdi Kanu. IPOB spokesman Emma Powerful emphasized that Ejiofor no longer represents Kanu or the pro-Biafra group, having been accused of incompetence in Kanu's terrorism trial. IPOB warned that any reference to Ejiofor as its lawyer could lead to legal consequences.
