Apollo Legends, Artemis II Crew — 28 humans who have travelled to the moon

More than 50 years after the first lunar mission, only 28 people have traveled beyond Earth to lunar space. Among them, 12 astronauts walked on the moon, including Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin in 1969. Others, like Michael Collins and Richard F. Gordon Jr., orbited the moon without landing. The Artemis II crew, including Reid Wiseman and Christina Koch, recently conducted a lunar flyby in 2026.
