Plateau Police warn against illegal drone operations

The Plateau State Police Command has warned individuals and organizations against operating drones without the necessary approvals, stating that offenders risk arrest and confiscation of their equipment. Police Public Relations Officer, SP Alfred Alabo, noted that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority is the sole agency authorized to issue permits for drone operations. The regulations prohibit the use of drones for unlawful activities and require operators to submit a security program prior to their operations.
