Nigerian Army rescues retired general's wife less than 24hrs after abduction

The Nigerian Army rescued Mrs. Adonkie, wife of retired Brigadier General Basil Adonkie, less than 24 hours after her abduction in the Federal Capital Territory. Troops acted on credible intelligence and forced the kidnappers to flee, leading to Mrs. Adonkie's release at Angwan Sabo Village. Two suspected members of the kidnapping syndicate were intercepted, and a follow-up operation is ongoing to apprehend other members of the group.
