Gabon: A 2026 World Cup coach appointed to lead the Panthers!

The Gabonese Football Federation (Fegafoot) officially announced Wednesday the appointment of Sébastien Migné, Haiti's coach at the 2026 World Cup, as the new head coach of Gabon. The 53-year-old Frenchman was hired after Haiti's group stage elimination. He replaces Thierry Mouyouma, who was sacked after a disappointing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Migné is well-versed in African football, having served as assistant to Claude le Roy and later as head coach of Congo, Kenya, Equatorial Guinea, and Cameroon.
