Gachagua Demands Over Ksh 80M After Controversial Impeachment

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is demanding over Ksh 80 million from the government following his impeachment in October 2024. He is claiming special damages, including Ksh 42 million in unpaid salary and Ksh 22.8 million in gratuity. Additionally, he seeks transport and medical cover allowances, along with a monthly pension of approximately Ksh 980,000.
