Gaza: a group of surfers finds rare moments of joy surfing the waves

Despite severe shortages in Gaza, a handful of surfers, including Tahseen Abu Assi, continue to engage in their sport. Currently, only three or four surfers are active due to a lack of equipment and the inability to replace damaged boards. According to Abu Assi, no new surfboards have entered Gaza since 2007, and he has had to protect his board before any other belongings during the displacements caused by the war.
