Housing allowances: Here are the civil servants concerned and what they will receive from the State of Senegal

The Democratic Union of Administration Workers (SDTA) reminded the Prime Minister's commitment regarding the payment of a six-month housing allowance arrears to state agents. The government announced that the necessary credits would be included in the 2026 Rectified Finance Law, with payment expected in the second half of the year. In January 2026, a decree generalized the housing allowance to all non-housed agents, setting the amount at 100,000 CFA francs per month, affecting around 16,000 agents and representing a cost of nearly 19 billion per year.
